Only Echoes

Another recap on an old subject. Back to the rules of conduct, surely, life could be more fun without those rules?

Explaining My Absence

  • by

It’s true, working on a short story in the time I would normally be writing poems, so bear with me, almost done though 🙂

A Riddle

  • by

Riddles that consume me Questions that plague me Answers that defy me Explainations that fail Sitting quiet Putting down the notes Deciding to let go of the puzzle for now Then I become the riddle? Why is it your turn to Haphazardly, confusedly Openly desperately Open up the riddle? Why does my heart beat different?… Read More »A Riddle

Achievement

27, not old, not young Not just right either! I frown. And what have I gained? Where do I stand? What joys have i brought? What greatness have I achieved? What did I do with 27 years… …that no other can emulate? Kick the desk Pain, I achieved pain. Hopping and clutching my shin In… Read More »Achievement

Three things destroy peoples souls every day, Anger, Distrust and Jealousy. I fear Distrust more than any other negative feeling. Not the lack of trust, but losing trust. Once someone proves you can’t trust them, how do they prove that you can? Anger I can deal with and walk away from, Jealousy I hide well, and again can walk away from – provided there’s trust… Loss of trust, I never resolved. Enter fear.

The Whisper

  • by

I wrote long ago of the whisper on the winds. Those who remember that poem, who’ve run their frowning eyes over the meaning of each verse, reading between each line, only to be told they’d gotten it wrong, will love this one 🙂

Mirror Mirror

  • by

A rhymer? MY GOSH! But it works, I like this one – did you ever look at yourself in the morning, not quite sure of where you are in life? Staring into your eyes and not really knowing if you see whats really there… Wondering if other people see the same, or even close? Do your shoulders sag? No not in the mirror. Do your eyes look dull and lifeless, never in the mirror… the mirror is a great liar. Oh dear, distrust issues again!!! 😉
